I partied in every capital in Europe, basked on all the famous beaches, and good-timed it in South America, the South Seas, the Orient, and the more palatable portions of Africa.
The European Tour plays all over the world: from the U.K. to China, from Korea to South Africa, and from the Middle East to southeast Asia.
The focus is on the Middle East, so there are a lot of eyes on the battlefield. But there are other things that are happening around the world, in Northern Africa, things happen in the Southern Hemisphere and in Central and South America.
I sort of lived half my life in California, half in England, so I am, I suppose, a little bit American.
I'd be happy if people said that I did a little bit to raise the dignity and recognition of the greatness of African-American music.
What I wish I had, is that I wish I was a little more Greek, in that I wish I could lose my North American driven attitude and that I could be a little bit more poetic and laissez faire.
Luckily, I have been offered the chance to play a South American, Hispanic and even a character from the Middle East in films. There are also a lot of TV series in the U.S. that have a strong presence of actors from India.
Sometimes I need a boost, and I go for something that's a little bit more intense and a bigger beat.
The Middle East and South Asia have a lot less in common with America than 18-year-old kids in Boston have with 18-year-old kids in Arkansas.
