I do tend to find when you're playing characters, often - just for the time you're playing them - there are sides of your personality that get stronger because you draw on them more.
If you get a sense that your writing isn't quite working, change it. Or cut it out. Don't just tell yourself it'll do, because it won't.
And usually the studios they don't want you to have credit for your movies because they want to take credit for the movies because if you get credit for your movies they've got to pay you more.
Feeling and reacting has more impact than just trying to emote what your character's saying.
I don't think you can ever completely transform yourself on film, but if you do your job well, you can make people believe that you're the character you're trying to be.
You can spend a bit of yourself when you give yourself to a character. At the end of a job, you have to remind yourself who and what you are.
Songs are like movies to me, and so you put yourself in the movie. You become a character in the movie.
If you have great characters, then your reader becomes emotionally invested in those people.
The more you work in this business as a comedian, the closer you get to just being yourself onstage, on camera, the more well received you are.
