If I wanted to do something on stage, I wanted it to be something I could really get into and feel.
I'd love to do a really broad comedy at some point.
I really don't have an ear for pitch. I can't sing at all, I can't hum melodies and I can't write riffs.
I write songs for people who drive in cars. I really do.
We really try to make sure that the band writes the songs, not just one person.
I have a very solo career. I only write with people that I really adore.
I don't write happy songs. Who does? I don't know anybody who writes happy songs, really.
Instead of slashing my wrists, I just write a bunch of really crummy songs.
I like to be read. That's most of what any writer could want.
