The clothes that I design and everything I've done is about life and how people live and how they want to live and how they dream they'll live. That's what I do.
As a director, we work ridiculously hard on every detail, and we do everything to the billionth degree, and mostly people notice nothing.
To me it's like, every time I'm a director, like today, you're the captain of the ship, so you better dress like it. You're the host of the party.
When we play live, it's always been a do or die effort. And everything we've ever done has always had that approach.
I don't trust or love anyone. Because people are so creepy. Creepy creepy creeps. Creeping around. Creeping here and creeping there. Creeping everywhere.
We're so used to everything being properly manicured, like you can hear every footstep in a movie, you can hear every bit of dialogue, and everything is in its place.
Every actress has a line she'll draw, where she'll say, 'This I will do and this I won't.' For me, everything has to be important to the story and the director has to be able to tell me why.
I wish people would be a bit more aware of how their actions affect everyone around them.
Movie making is really, it's a director's medium, it's not even so much an actor's medium.
