The first rule of management is delegation. Don't try and do everything yourself because you can't.
The thing is, at the end of the day you still have to face yourself.
When you look back at your own story, you may find out that not every 't' was crossed and every 'i' was dotted.
At the end of the day, it's me versus you, and I'm trying to get you out. If I can throw you six curveballs in a row and get you out, I'm going to do it all day.
Once you put songs out, they're not yours anymore. They're everyone else's.
You ever try to beat your dad up? It just don't happen. He's got that old man strength.
At the end of the day, they're happy if you do the obvious songs towards the end of the set and you've got to try and make yourself happy by doing certain songs at the front end of the set.
You can't let every bad thing that happens to you in your life overtake you.
You can listen to what everybody says, but the fact remains that you've got to get out there and do the thing yourself.
