I had to fight Donald Cerrone, Anthony Pettis, Gil Melendez, Rafael Dos Anjos. I had to fight these guys in order to prove myself in order to get a title shot.
I outline and outline and outline, and then I'm very specific about the stuff I write. That's my process.
Obviously, I want to sell records, but I do it because I find it therapeutic. In music I can be myself.
I won't get into it any more than to say that there are parts of me in all the songs that I write.
You'll go mad trying to figure out what people want. I don't bother. I write the stories I want to read.
I didn't go out of my way to get into this movie stuff. I think of myself as a writer.
I eventually want to write and direct and produce my own stuff.
I write it to get it out of me. I don't write it to remember it.
I would not send a first story anywhere. I would give myself time to write a number of stories.
