Cinema will always have an important role to play in society.
What can you say about a society that says that God is dead and Elvis is alive?
It's important for that to exist in a society that doesn't present you with any genuine problems.
It's a little daunting coming on to work with actors that you respect so much.
I don't think the advertisers have any real idea of their power not only to reflect but to mold society.
The ideas dictate everything, you have to be true to that or you're dead.
So many roles for women demand that you make the audience fall in love with you or sympathise with you.
The role of art in society differs for every artist.
Cinema is a reflection of its own society.
