Someone once told me that if you respect a person, listen to their opinion. And if you do not respect someone, then do not listen to their opinion. And that works both ways.
If you're going to write about someone's life, you don't just use them for wallpaper. You have to honor and respect that life.
By annihilating somebody else in whatever way, then that person feels that they also have the ability to, then, restore the person.
To me, elegy suggests that there is hope, and in some respects you've moved past the loss and are able to deal with it and to write about it.
I don't care who you are, everyone has been through it - that feeling where you'd like to be someone else.
Whatever you have a passion for, then you must do. If you want to write, write about something you know about.
If you're passionate about your work, it makes the people around you want to be involved too.
That's what a god is. Somebody who knows more than you do about whatever you're dealing with.
Actually, in the wild, we'd be the only person that we wouldn't recognize, if you think about it.
