Now I know what it's like to be a rock star. No, I didn't sleep with 5 groupies at once. But I was interviewed about 45 times in 5 days in 3 cities.
I keep track of my blog stats, Facebook subs, my Amazon rank, Twitter followers, Facebook likes per posts, my chess ranking. I get stressed when they all don't go up.
If you really care about Facebook likes, don't just post your stuff to Twitter and then rely on it being republished automatically to Facebook. In my sample size of one, Facebook penalizes you significantly for that and shows that content to far fewer people.
Everybody has forgotten about showmanship. People don't look like rock stars any more. They just look like regular dudes off the street.
I guess the line between being paranoid and being a rock star is smaller than one would expect.
I think, at some point, we have to be followers of Christ - not followers of White Christ, or any other color Christ, for that matter.
