A friend of mine called and said they're interested in having you do a song for the new Pokemon. All my kids are grown up, so I'd heard of it, but I didn't really know what it was.
Obviously you don't want to be anonymous, but you don't want everyone to know your life.
In my neighborhood, everyone had an opinion on the local cantor. You didn't go to a synagogue to listen to the rabbi's sermon. You went to listen to the cantor. It was like a concert.
But once you strip that down, you realize it's all about a voice, like a Norah Jones - that's inspiring to me.
