Someone like Katy Perry - I like her writing because I listen to music as a songwriter. I like a lot of her songs - like, 'Firework' is a song that I think I could write.
I write songs very quickly, so the 20 minutes of joy I get out of writing a song doesn't compare to the two months of joy I get engaging with the people who like my music.
I like the mix of stuff I do. I love movies, but I also enjoy performing live and writing songs.
I loved performing in the 'High School Musical' movies - that didn't seem like work - but the gym felt like torture!
I hate to let people down. I was like that in sports and I was like that in comedy. I was like that at work. When I worked General Motors and stuff like that, when I say something, I mean it.
I like to share my life, and spend time with someone I love. That has worked 100 per cent with my wife.
My strength is with actors. I think I'm good at working with them to get the best performances, at seeing what it is that they have and that the story needs.
I never produce a song, whether writing it or making a beat, and give it a wack visual or wack performance. I'm like a trifecta.
I talk about myself in the third person all the time. I don't live my life in the way someone like you does. I live my life completely serving only my work and my fans.
