Working out makes me feel strong and energized every time. It's my therapy for my mind and my body.
I want people to have a good time. It's boring only to hear singer/songwriters spilling their guts.
I just gravitate to those more testosterone-filled sort of parts than me playing something a bit more fairy-like.
My idea of a good time abroad is to visit someone's house and hang out, poking into their cupboards if they will let me.
I get such joy out of performing for people, and you can tell whether they like you or they don't like you the minute you walk out on the stage. And they don't even have to tell me that they had a good time. I know they had a good time.
Twice I let people talk me out of good ideas.
These guys were the best. They were the best at their positions and made playing the game easier. And at the same time it made it so much more enjoyable.
I get plenty of, 'Is that song about me?' from men but I just tell them to get over themselves.
As soon as it was understood that we could handle things in our own way, it was the thrill of my life to walk out on that stage with people just hemming the band in.
