Andere / Other Ding / Thing Gesucht / Wanted Journalist Spion / Spy
I thought I wanted to be a journalist or a novelist.
I would rather just do the things I want to do.
I don't think about what other people want from me.
We journalists don't have to step on roaches. All we have to do is turn on the kitchen light and watch the critters scutter.
Journalists write because they have nothing to say, and have something to say because they write.
I'd never want to do something just for the show of it.
As a teenager especially, I just wanted to do my thing and not be noticed.
I always wanted to be a serious journalist.
They want to create rather than decimate.
