I've certainly had a lot of experiences in my life where I was much too self-centered.
I've danced one time in my life. It was the most mortifying experience I ever had.
I learn a lot from my experiences and collaborations. Most of my collaborations are meant for me to learn.
I love, personally, the experience of going to the theater, going to the cinema.
With songwriting I spend a lot of time living life, accruing all these experiences, journaling, and then by the time I get to the studio I'm teeming with the drive to write.
Most of the people that I deal with are human. So I've had a lot of experience with that.
I spent time in, like, criminal courts, and covering murder trials for papers.
So, yeah, I can say I always set my expectations so high that I had a lot to live up to.
As a writer, as a creator, I'm giving you my experiences. But just take what I give you. You ain't got to pry beyond that.
