I feel that the majority of people should decide for themselves what kind of government they want.
Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves are its only safe depositories.
War should only be declared by the authority of the people, whose toils and treasures are to support its burdens, instead of the government which is to reap its fruits.
Sometimes people need a kick in the pants to get them to do what they would be doing if government weren't there as a perpetual parent.

What do you think, what people want from their governments? Simple. A better life for themselves and for their children. Government that is fair, just and responsible.
Sometimes the way you respond to horrific, evil deeds is the measure of one's self as a man, as a nation, as people, as a community.
'Chinese Democracy' wasn't trying to tell China to have a democracy or anything like that. I don't have an opinion on what kind of government they should have.
