I'm all for one month of going really hard and eating really healthy and boxing every day if you're doing it for, like, one job.
Even when you're producing difficult material and you get emotional, after it you feel good; you feel like you've done a good job, or had an emotional release. I've always enjoyed that, but you go home and think, that was a good day's work, and you move on.
People really like the fact that I've worked at their job. It gives them a good feeling that I've experienced, even for a few hours, what they do on the job.
There was a bit of a readjustment period because I didn't know what it was going to be like. I didn't know what was happening, how it was going to be, how it was all going to feel. As time went on it was great. Everything felt good so we decided to go with it.
I've learned how to exist and get work done when you're exhausted. I've finally gotten to that level, because at first I had no idea how I was going to do it.
Don't let the American twang fool you. I still say, 'I'm going home,' when I come to England, and I love a good old cup of PG Tips with a Jaffa Cake.
I got a chance to work with Mystikal and Mannie Fresh and Juvenile and all these people as I was growing up, and so that really influenced everything I do.
It wasn't like I felt I was on a wave. It was just so easy. It is only afterwards that I thought I really had a bit of good luck going on there with Yazoo.
So far, and today, everything felt really great. Now I am good to get on the plane and fly to Australia.
