You are always trying to make something that is more than the sum of its parts.
I have a lot of stuff I want to talk about and offer up. It would be odd not to have ideas about something.
Nothing sways the stupid more than arguments they can't understand.
Anytime someone tells me that I can't do something, I want to do it more.
If you tell me I can't have something then that just makes me want it more.
To me, what is important in the theater is that we don't want to make a conclusion. We don't want to make a statement, don't want to say what something is. We want to ask, 'What is it?'
I want to make something commercial that people can pick up on.
And I also trust that there's more than one way to do something.
If the picture speaks to me, if it tells me something about myself, then I want it. Then I have to have it.
