Wherever you repress people, they get hold of a crayon and a bit of scrap paper, and they chronicle their lives and their existence and their history.
With a lot of comedies, the characters go on a journey, and they come back, and they're the exact same people.
It's amazing how easily people are led to fury and chaos. Unhappy people with guns are not going to make this country great.
What I truly get excited about is not the genre of a movie or the size of a part - it's character. I like to find characters.
As an actor, all you have is what you know and what you see in other people. The more you know, and the more you've experienced, the more you're able to communicate to other people.
I try to begin with a strong grasp of my characters. Even if it's schematic, I need it clear in my head who these people are.
An actor matures with experiences, and the more the emotions he/she has been through, the greater the intensity of performances.
Truthfully, I despise hotels. I've had such better experiences staying at people's houses and guesthouses; it's so much more comfortable and homey.
