Ten episodes goes by really quickly, especially when you've got a really tough shooting schedule of seven-day episodes.
The thing is that, often if you have time to research a role, sometimes it's hard to know exactly where to start.
For the moment, whenever I read, it is normally scripts. You start a book and then you think, 'I should be reading these five scripts.'
The guys today are just too strong and back then they would take many hard punches to land one.
When I start writing songs and it turns into an overly belabored intellectual process, I just throw it out.
I come out of TV, where you never reshoot, because you don't have time. If you do reshoot, it's because someone really screwed up.
I guess that's one of the reasons that you do it - work all the time - because it's sort of a high to find something that really works.
Instead of going out and shooting people, why don't you go start a band.
But then you have to write a song, so at that point, I picked up the reins and started to write lyrics.
